Our Process

Consultation - The first step in our process is the initial consultation, where we will discuss your vision for your new countertops.  We will walk through all your options including selection of material, edge detail, sink options as well as the backsplash options available to you.  We will also  set up a timeline for template and installation.  Typically it takes 5-10 days from template to installation of your new countertops.  We will measure your kitchen and then produce a drawing which allows us to lay out your project and determine how many slabs are necessary, where to place seams to minimize their appearance and where to cut pieces in order to match the flow and veining of your material.

Template – During the template process, we will create an exact replica of your kitchen countertops.  Since we can't take your cabinets back to our shop, the template allows us to recreate your kitchen in the shop,  to ensure your countertops are a perfect match once they are fabricated.  

Fabrication –  Once the template is complete, our skilled artisans will overlay it onto your slab and cut it out to size.  We will then add your edge detail, cut out any sinks and polish all the exposed cut edges.  

Installation –  The final step in our process and the day you have been waiting for....your new kitchen is almost complete!!!  Our team will contact you on the day of install to confirm the appointment and let you know when we will arrive.  We will first bring in all of the tops to confirm they fit properly and make any adjustments necessary before setting the tops.  We will then set any tops with seams, drill out faucet holes and install any backsplash if applicable.  We will caulk and silicone around your new countertops and finally add sealer or enhancer if necessary.  We try very hard to keep the mess to a minimum during install, but we will also clean any mess we make,  leaving you with a clean and beautiful new kitchen!!!
